Engineering Requirements
ER1.1. Use GSR, EMG, pulse sensors and set thresholds from the analog signals that indicate when there is a noticeable change in emotion
ER2.1. LED turns on that is visible on the wearable when all 3 thresholds are passed simultaneously
ER3.1 Place sensor(s) on body parts that give optimal measurements
ER3.2 All sensor data within 5% accuracy
ER4.1 Use cell towers(GSM) to articulate location of device
ER4.2 Microprocessor will determine when all 3 sensor thresholds change, to send data of location to the cloud
ER5.1 Wireless connection through Photon Particle device
ER5.2 Use sim card through a cell-phone carrier to provide wide-range network
ER6.1 Sensor data will be processed in the database to be plotted on the cloud
ER6.2 Plots will show when sensor thresholds are passed and where the user was when these spikes happened
ER7.1 Server has enough storage to store up to 2 years of continuous data on it
ER7.2 After each week, average data points to store in database to make more room for more data
ER8.1 Use Raspberry Pi for server which can be accessed by public
ER8.2 Multiple pages available for each client’s data
ER9.1 Check if authentication is provided before viewing data for each individual
ER10.1 Using low-power microcontroller so battery will last for 8-10 hours
ER10.2 Recharge battery using charge controller
ER11.1 Device diameter of 2” w/ either elastic or clasp band
ER11.2 Complete device weight should be 5 oz or less
ER12.1 Insulated wiring
ER12.2 Proper packaging keeps all wiring, sensors, and power supplies protected
